Grand Rapids Indoor Engagement in Michigan - Trey + Lilly

If you’re anything like me, you are NOT the biggest fan of freezing cold Michigan temperatures in the winter, and maybe you might not want to have your engagement photos taken in them. Let’s just say: I’M WITH YA.

So for Trey and Lilly’s shoot, instead of spending the entire time outdoors (like most of my shoots are), we opted for an indoor session at GR Studio Space right near downtown. It had the most perfect light to work in and was like the most dreamy, clean, minimal canvas that a photographer (aka meee) would love to work in with an adorable couple.

It’s funny… I actually connected with Trey and Lilly over Instagram first, and both of them are photographers! So it was such an honor to shoot both of them during their sweet engagement period as they await their wedding day!

These photos are some of the most delicate, intimate, and soft (is that the word I’m going for?) photos I’ve ever taken, and working in an indoor studio was COMPLETELY out of my element, so I’m BEYOND excited that they turned out this good.

Let’s just say: Trey and Lilly made it very very easy. :)

So if you’re ever wondering if the brisk, outdoor, mid-winter shoot is for you – just remember, that you can always play in an indoor space, with natural light, and make just as much magic happen while NOT freezing your bootay off!!

And don’t worry about having the right space to shoot in! Just get in touch with me for your shoot, and I’ll take care of that! I actually find the “hunt” of finding an indoor (or outdoor) space a super exciting thing, so you’re in good hands with me.

Enjoy Trey and Lilly’s engagement photos!
