Steph and Chris OHHHH my goodness. We woke up for the sunrise, and this crisp morning air did NOT disappoint. It was absolutely stunning and moody and I couldn’t have asked for a better couple to work with.

You know what SHOOK me as I was editing these photos? Something made me stop and realize the protected and unique moment I was in.

Every time I sit down to edit, it’s just the images I’ve captured, the romance and energy in the photos, THEIR story, and the creativity God has given me to tell that story. The deeper I get into this work, the deeper it sinks in that NOTHING ELSE matters!

As a creative, it can be sooooo easy to get caught up in the noise around us than to look within ourselves. It’s easier to create likable and share-able images than it is to tell real stories from our own perspectives. But to turn off the noise, to STOP SCROLLING, to dig deep into a bottomless and incomparable sea of creativity from within oneself is not only “good” but NECESSARY as a creator!

Steph and Chris, THANK YOU for trusting me to tell your story and I can’t wait to document your wedding in Spring 2022. What an honor and joy it is every time I am entrusted with this work of photography. I absolutely love it.
