Downtown Grand Rapids Michigan Wedding — Kyle and Tabatha

When I think of Tabatha and Kyle’s Grand Rapids wedding, honestly it just screams intentionality and JOY.

It was not only one of the most well put together wedding days I’ve had the privilege of photographing, but it was also so incredibly filled with joy and love all around. And that’s not always easy to pull off!

But in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids Michigan, Tabatha and Kyle were married with the most meaningful of ceremonies, and partied the night away with their best people in the most magical way.

What you may not realize about this incredible city wedding at first glance, is that Tabatha herself (the bride) is an event planner! And yeah… I’m pretty sure she planned this entire thing by herself - which is just the most awesome thing I’ve ever heard.

They picked the streets of downtown, along with the Civic Auditorium, the outside of the GRAM (GR Art Museum) for the majority of their formal photographs, and then they picked their church Crossroads Bible Church for their ceremony, and the CityFlatsHotel as their wedding reception venue.

From sunup to sundown, from the white long-stem roses to the black and white color scheme, everything was simply to die for throughout this day.

Jump into this gorgeous and heartfelt wedding day, and try not to look through without getting a smile on your face…
